Cancer diagnosis and beginning of a journey.

My treatment was a lumpectomy , lymph node dissection , radiation and tamoxifin for 5 years.

I am very fortunate!

Since being dignosed ,I have dove in full force with anything breast cancer related!

I work at a hospital and got involved with the PINK GLOVE DANCE. It turned into a

And so begins the yearly pink controversy...a rant

I read an article from Marie Claire magazine this afternoon. It's making the rounds on Facebook and the Internet. It's all about "pinkwashing," the business of breast cancer and the horrible con artists illegally and unethically profiting from our suffering. My first thought was that the article made a strong case that donating to the Pink Daisy Project was the right thing to do.

my story

September 1, 2010, at the age of 35, during a needle biopsy I found out that I had two different kinds of cancer in my left breast both grade 2 and Her2+ invasive ducal carcinoma, I not only had the large lump (ER+, PR+)  that I could feel but two smaller lumps (ER-, PR-) close to the chest wall.
